    Description

    Japanese Type 30 Sword Bayonet with Scabbard. Ricasso is faintly marked with stacked cannonballs for the Kokura Arsenal. The wood grips are solid with several scratches/nicks, a few chips by the pommel and crossguard. The blade is straight, tight, unsharpened, no nicks, but it does have pitting with surface rust scattered throughout. The pommel and crossguard also have surface rust scattered throughout. The lock button is functional. The scabbard is solid with three dents in the middle, they have caused a 1/4" split on each edge. Length of the blade measures 15 9/16" (15" wide x 5/16" thick spine), length of the bayonet is 20", and in the scabbard it is 20 3/4". Muzzle opening is 9/16".
